Do I need to consider the surrounding temperature when selecting a shuttering magnet?

When choosing a shuttering magnet, it is indeed necessary to consider the surrounding temperature conditions, as temperature has a significant impact on the performance and stability of the magnet. The magnetic properties of a magnet will change with temperature, especially in high-temperature environments, where the magnet may experience magnetic decay or even demagnetization, resulting in reduced adsorption force and inability to effectively fix the shuttering, affecting the safety and accuracy of construction. Different types of magnets have different temperature tolerance abilities. For example, common neodymium iron boron magnets have strong magnetic force but poor high-temperature resistance, and may begin demagnetization above 80 ℃. Samarium cobalt magnets, although slightly weaker in magnetic force, have strong high-temperature stability and can maintain magnetism at temperatures of 200 ℃ or even higher.

In low-temperature environments, although the magnetism of magnets usually increases, the brittleness of the material itself may also increase, especially neodymium iron boron magnets, which may be more prone to cracking or surface coating cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction in extremely cold environments, thereby affecting their structural integrity and service life. In low-temperature environments such as cold storage, cold chain construction, or winter outdoor operations, it is also necessary to choose shuttering magnets with good cold resistance and surface treatment processes to ensure their safe and stable operation in extreme environments.
